I'm registered with the UKPHR

Initial registration is for five years, before the end of which the UKPHR Board requires evidence that the registrant remains fit to practice. We currently require all registrants to participate in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme and we are working with other professional bodies, including the Faculty of Public Health, to develop a fair and comprehensive system for revalidation of all registrants.

Once registered you are expected to maintain your registration. If however due to your circumstance such as retirement or working abroad for a considerable time you do not require registration please contact the Register office for advice.

If you are approaching five years of registration you will be notified and will be required to provide evidence of CPD and a recent appraisal. Full details will be in the correspondence sent to you; please note that on the introduction of revalidation you will be required to revalidate.
