Developing the Specialised Health Promotion workforce

The UK Voluntary Register is pleased to be working with the Royal Society of Health and the Faculty of Public Health to promote the development of the Specialised Health Promotion workforce in the UK. This follows on from the publication by the Department of Health and the Welsh Assembly Government on 'Shaping the Future of Public Health: Promoting Health in the NHS'.

The UK VR will be joining with the other organisations in hosting a conference on the 31st October 2006 and will use this opportunity to explore the possibilities of and benefits from accreditation and regulation for this workforce.
